Los chamanes Q’ero, también conocidos como los “Guardianes de la Sabiduría de los Andes,” son protectores de un conocimiento espiritual ancestral transmitido de generación en generación. Residen en las remotas alturas de los Andes peruanos y realizan rituales que promueven la armonía entre el ser humano, la naturaleza y el cosmos. A través de ceremonias como el "Despacho" (una ofrenda a la Tierra), honran a Pachamama, la Madre Tierra, y nos conectan con la sabiduría ancestral de los incas.
The Q’ero shamans, also known as the “Wisdom Keepers of the Andes,” are guardians of ancient spiritual knowledge passed down through generations. Residing in the remote highlands of the Peruvian Andes, they perform rituals to foster harmony between humanity, nature, and the cosmos. Through ceremonies such as the "Despacho" (an offering to the Earth), they honor Pachamama, Mother Earth, and connect us to the ancestral wisdom of the Inca.

“Saphichay” significa “Florecer” o “Déjate florecer” en quechua. Este nombre representa la visión detrás de mi proyecto – una galería fotográfica donde no solo mis propias obras, sino también la belleza de los Andes y de su gente cobran vida. Cada fotografía cuenta historias de cultura, naturaleza y comunidad, invitándonos a crecer y a dejar brillar nuestra propia luz.
Existe la posibilidad de adquirir impresiones de mis fotografías en forma de postales. Además, el proyecto puede ser acompañado mediante un apoyo voluntario al proyecto, que contribuye a sostener Saphichay y a apoyar a mujeres artistas andinas, al mismo tiempo que fortalece la continuidad y el desarrollo del proyecto. De esta manera, ayudamos a preservar la rica cultura andina del Perú — una cultura llena de belleza expresada en su arte, música, danza, tradiciones y en la vida vibrante de sus comunidades — para las futuras generaciones.

“Saphichay” means “Bloom” or “Let yourself flourish” in Quechua. This name represents the vision behind my project – a photography gallery where not only my own works, but also the beauty of the Andes and its people come to life. Each photograph tells stories of culture, nature, and community, inspiring us to grow and let our own light shine.
